It is our Erasmus+ project that is all about supporting and uplifting mothers of small children from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. We know that motherhood can be both beautiful and challenging, so our project focuses on helping Moms feel stronger, more confident, and better connected—to themselves and to others.

Project duration: 1 January 2025 - 31 March 2026

Mamas who Run with the Wolves

At the heart of the project is a simple but important belief: when mothers are supported, families and communities can thrive. Through creative and experiential training courses, online parenting workshops, and local women’s circles, the project offers mothers a space to pause, reflect, grow, and feel empowered.

1. Supporting mothers’ wellbeing and personal growth
To support mothers of young children in nurturing their mental health, wellbeing, and inner strength through creative, nature-based and experiential training courses and personal mentoring that offer space for rest, reflection, and renewal.

2. Strengthening parenting confidence and competencies
To offer parents practical guidance, inspiration, and support through online workshops focused on child development, play, emotional wellbeing, and responsive parenting.

3. Building lasting community support
To create local women’s circles in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia that foster connection, trust, mutual encouragement, and long-term community resilience.

Project Objectives

1. Educational resources

  • Balancing Love and Space — a gentle guide to help prepare mothers and their babies for time apart

  • Self-Care Vision Board — a guided creative process supported by a short meditation

  • Circles of Care Booklet — a booklet on how to create and facilitate women’s circles, with a special focus on mothers with young children

  • Thematic Cards — an inspiring year-round set of cards for personal growth, seasonal reflection, and group work

  • Mini Library and Online Resources — a carefully curated collection of books and online materials to empower mothers and families

2. Learning and personal growth
The project supported meaningful learning and transformation for participants. Mothers were empowered through improved mental health, stronger self-care awareness, and greater parenting confidence. Families were supported in deepening their understanding of gentle parenting, and facilitators strengthened their skills in holding supportive spaces for women and families.

3. Stronger relationships and community support
The project also helped strengthen connection, on both the family and community level. Couples had the opportunity to reconnect and grow together, and local women’s circles were created to offer ongoing support, belonging, and encouragement in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia.
